Call for Papers
SPG/SEG 2006 Kunming International Conference
SPG/SEG 2006 Kunming International Geophysical Conference co-sponsored by the Society of Petroleum Geophysicists (SPG China) and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists will be held at the Sunshine Coast hotel in Fuxian lake scenic spot (about 1 hour drive to Kunming City) from October 27 through 29, 2006. The theme of the conference is Reservoir Geophysics: data acquisition, processing and interpretation in mature oil provinces. It will offer an international forum to present advanced geophysical techniques and innovative research results. Technical co-chairmen, Niu Yuquan and Arthur Cheng cordially invite companies and professionals all over the world to submit papers on Data Acquisition, 3-D Seismology, Time Lapse Seismic, VSP, Multi-Component Seismic, Migration, Inversion, Reservoir Characterization, Seismic Attributes Extraction and Statistical Analysis and other related topics. Papers from U.S.A should be e-mailed to kuming2006@seg.org. All other papers should be e-mailed to Niu Yuquan, the address is niuyq@bgp.com.cn.
The paper submitted should follow SEG guideline for the SEG Extended Abstracts. The Extended Abstract should be limited to 4 pages of A4 (30cm by 20cm), with no more than 8 figures. The paper with no attached figures will not be accepted.

Papers received after the deadline of May 31, 2006 will not be considered.
